OVERVIEW

  • VeriSign comprised of 3 business units - Managed Security Services, Communications and Internet Services - required one corporate positioning to tell its story.

  • Launched a new Global Campaign focused on “one VeriSign” with the theme “Where it all comes together.”

  • Drove alignment of the brand “from the inside out” to ensure one consistent customer experience.

  • Partnered cross-functionally to shift culture and operations from 3 separate BUs to one.

  • Responsible for building out branding and co-branding systems, guidelines and educational employee engagement programs.

  • Managed master and ingredient brands.

  • Managed brand strategies and marketing integrations for 21 acquistions.

  • Partnered with Legal to manage fraudulent use of the VeriSign Secured trademark.

RESULT

  • Delivered on CMO’s mandate to build, manage, and protect the brand -- largest asset valued at $888.6 million.

  • Achieved $4M marketing cost savings by digitally operationalizing for scale a hybrid brand management model to ensure a consistent customer brand experience.
